This simple yet effective and affordable procedure uses carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide to lighten dark or stained teeth. Teeth can be whitened by professionally supervised at-home treatments or through an accelerated process in the dentist's office.
A thin layer of porcelain can be applied to the front of a tooth to dramatically improve its position, size, color, and shape. Created in a dental laboratory, these restorations can provide you with a permanent aesthetic solution in just two clinical procedures.
Chipped, stained, or worn teeth are repaired by the application of a composite resin bonding material directly onto each tooth's surface. This low-expense procedure allows the dentist to restore or enhance your smile in a single visit.
Crowns are similar to veneers, except that they are placed over the entire tooth. These restorations are used to correct severe decay or misalignment as well as teeth that have undergone root canal therapy. Crowns are fabricated in a laboratory to provide a stable bite and enhanced aesthetics.
Inlays and onlays are used to replace silver fillings. They are usually made from composite resin material, porcelain, or gold. Once placed, they are virtually undetectable in the mouth, and conserve much of your natural tooth structure.
These restorations, generally made of porcelain or a composite material, are used to replace missing teeth. Bridges are placed on the neighboring teeth, so they span the site of the missing tooth, making them a fabulous method by which to restore your bite and create a pleasant smile.
Dental implants, used to replace missing teeth, are fixtures that are inserted into underlying bone to serve as the base for an artificial tooth. A natural-looking crown is connected to the top of the implant to provide a predictable and safe way to create an attractive smile.
Scaling and Root Planning is the first non-surgical step to treating Periodontal Disease. Hygienists refer to this as “special cleanings” or “deep cleanings.” Scaling & Root Planning is necessary when pockets are greater than 3mm. Deep cleanings remove plaque and tartar beneath the gumline and all the way down to the bottom of the sulcus. Anesthetic is commonly used to reduce any discomfort. This type of cleaning is usually done in quadrants. It’s always better to perform as much of the cleaning as possible in one visit so bacteria from an un-treated area doesn’t re-infect the cleansed area.
